Everything you'd ask before handing over a key
How is the monthly price decided?
By the plan you pick, the size of the home and how many bathrooms it has. You get the monthly price in writing after the walk-through, before anything is billed. The plans page shows what each plan holds and its terms.
What happens at the walk-through, and how long does it take?
About an hour, with Haiyan or a lead, in your home. You talk through keys, codes, the alarm, fold and fridge rules and what's off limits. You get the result as a written house card. Nothing is billed until you say yes.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most households aren't. We hold one key on a tag with no address and log every use. The policies page says how.
Who comes into my home?
A lead you've met at the walk-through, and the same small team each time. We send first names before each visit.
Are you insured, and can I see the certificate?
Yes. General liability is $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate. We send a certificate of insurance on request.
What if something is missed, broken or missing?
Tell us within 48 hours with a photo. We return within two business days to redo a missed task, and we repair or replace anything we broke. The policies page has the details.
What do you bring, and which products?
Cloths, a vacuum and a mop. Products are named on your house card, and fragrance-free ones are available on request.
Do you work around pets?
Yes. Tell us at the walk-through which rooms they're in and whether a door should stay shut.
How do I pause or cancel, and what if I'm locked out?
Text at least 7 days before the 1st to pause or cancel; there is no minimum term and no fee. If we can't get in, we rebook within the week and bill the visit once.
Where do you go, and how soon can I start?
Across San Francisco and a few nearby towns. Plans start on the 1st after the walk-through, and the holiday reset books by November 15.
